What does it mean to be Jewish and what is an anti-Semite? Why is it that, periodically, the mystery surrounding the identity of the founders of the first monotheism becomes the object of such passions?
Rue d'Ulm, 2008).
Élisabeth Roudinesco, historian and psychoanalyst, is a lecturer at the École pratique des hautes études. Author of a major body of work in the field of the history of psychoanalysis, she has published several reference books such as Histoire de la psychanalyse en France and Jacques Lacan (Fayard, new ed. Hachette, “Pochotèque”, 2009). She has recently published a history of perversion: La part obscure de nous-mêmes (Albin Michel, 2007).
